Carnon is a pretty little port situated at the approach to the "Petite Camargue", 9 miles south of Montpellier, and well sheltered from winds and high seas, making it a very safe port of call. There are shops, services, activities and sailing professionals, everything you need for an enjoyable stay. You'll also appreciate the all-year-round micro-climate enjoyed by this corner of the Gulf of Aigues-Mortes. There's plenty to do here, including fishing, waterskiing, diving among the reefs, cruising or just lazing on the huge sandy beaches. Carnon has a full programme of amusements combined with all the traditional attractions of this region, such as Mediterranean markets, Camargue horses and bulls, the wild countryside where they roam, and of course sunshine.
